What file format should I use?

We prefer your songs and audio reels be emailed to us as an MP3.  They may also be AAC or WAV files.  If your songs are WAV, please send them as seperate emails as the file size is much larger than the other types.  If the files are too large to send via email, they may also be mailed on a CD.

How long can my songs be?

The total length of audio files on one of our websites may not exceed 5 minutes, due to the amount of space these files take up.  That could mean, for example, five one-minute demo songs, or two full songs, depending what works best with your content.

If your songs are not already cut down to shorter audio clips, we will trim them for you to shorter demo-sized lengths free of charge.  Just specify the start and stop times in the email with your audio file attachements.

Can I send in a CD?

Yes, you may send us your audio files on a CD if you do not already have them on your computer.  We will convert them to a web-ready format free of charge, as well as trim them for you to shorter demo-sized lengths (if applicable).
